Overview
For Vectis.ai’s Hardware Pioneers MAX activation, I helped architect and execute the data, research, targeting, and operational systems around the event. We did not want the exhibition to become an expensive backdrop for a logo. We mapped the exhibitor ecosystem as a market, ranked commercial relevance, prepared account intelligence, and built the capture and follow-up structure needed to turn physical proximity into actual pipeline.
What It Delivers
- A complete research and prioritization layer across the Hardware Pioneers MAX exhibitor ecosystem.
- Structured exhibitor records covering company relevance, hardware focus, engineering complexity, commercial fit, and likely pain points.
- Professional-profile mapping across engineering, product, leadership, innovation, compliance, and commercial roles.
- A scoring model used to separate general event attendees from high-priority commercial accounts.
- A shortlist of priority organizations supported by account-specific research and conversation intelligence.
- Pre-event briefing packs covering company context, relevant people, likely design challenges, relationship angles, and Vectis positioning.
- A custom AI knowledge environment capable of answering questions about mapped companies and individuals before or during conversations.
- A Manual Intercept Protocol for high-value LinkedIn outreach, calls, introductions, and event-floor actions.
- QR and contact-capture logic designed to move interest into structured follow-up rather than loose business cards.
- CRM-conscious routing that respected the existing HubSpot ownership boundary.
- Post-event follow-up structures connecting meeting notes, contact intelligence, next actions, and commercial opportunities.
- A wider GTM model connecting event activity to subscriber growth, POC discussions, enterprise credibility, and fundraising evidence.
What I Did
- Helped define the event intelligence architecture and the data required to evaluate every relevant account.
- Structured the account-scoring logic used to rank organizations by strategic fit and likely commercial value.
- Worked across exhibitor research, professional-profile mapping, segmentation, contact enrichment, and target prioritization.
- Helped transform raw event and LinkedIn data into usable commercial intelligence rather than static spreadsheets.
- Designed the structure of company briefs, person briefs, pain-point mapping, and conversation preparation.
- Helped create the custom AI layer through which the team could query mapped people, companies, and account context quickly.
- Contributed to the Manual Intercept Protocol covering direct actions, outreach rhythm, event-floor engagement, and escalation.
- Connected pre-event research with during-event capture and post-event follow-up so the work operated as one lifecycle.
- Worked across research, data engineering, RevOps, narrative positioning, and execution planning.
- Helped align the event sprint with Vectis.ai's wider objective of building qualified demand and commercial evidence before its next fundraising stage.
Outcomes
- The event shifted from a general networking opportunity into an account-based commercial operation.
- Every priority conversation could begin with context rather than blind outreach.
- Research, scoring, targeting, engagement, capture, and follow-up were connected into one operating model.
- The team gained a searchable intelligence layer rather than relying on individual memory or disconnected notes.
- High-value organizations could be separated from lower-priority exhibitors before event time was consumed.
- Event activity was structured to support subscriber acquisition, enterprise POCs, partnership conversations, and investor evidence.
- The system created a repeatable model that could be applied to future industry events.
Proven Impact
- 253 exhibitors researched and structured.
- Approximately 700 professional profiles mapped across relevant accounts.
- 35 priority organizations isolated for deeper commercial attention.
- A throughput model of 375 accounts researched per day, approximately 112 engaged accounts, and 50 to 75 direct actions per day.
- Priority-account intelligence prepared for organizations including Jaguar Land Rover, STMicroelectronics, Medtronic Digital Surgery, and a major global EMC testing organization.
- Structured as part of an eight-week, £10,000 GTM programme.
- Built to support a wider objective of 5,000 qualified subscribers by 31 July 2026.
- Converted a two-day industry event into a structured before, during, and after-event commercial system.
Why It Matters
- Events create little value when attendance, targeting, capture, and follow-up remain disconnected.
- The sprint protected executive time by ensuring the most important organizations and people were identified before the event began.
- Account intelligence increased the credibility and relevance of first conversations.
- Structured capture reduced the risk of commercially valuable interactions disappearing after the event.
- The project demonstrated how research, automation, data engineering, and RevOps can turn physical proximity into scalable pipeline.
- It created evidence that Vectis could use not only for sales, but also for product validation and future fundraising.
The goal was never merely to help Vectis attend Hardware Pioneers MAX. We treated the event as a temporary, unusually concentrated market and built the intelligence needed to navigate it deliberately. Exhibitors became structured data, priority accounts became prepared conversations, and every useful conversation entered a system designed to keep working after everybody packed up the stand and went home.
