Saizen Newsletter Engine

Overview
I built the newsletter engine because the problem was not finding more information. It was surviving too much of it. The system ingests hundreds of sources across news, technology, markets, company updates, and niche publications, then filters, deduplicates, ranks, summarizes, and delivers only the material that deserves somebody’s limited attention.
What It Delivers
- Real-time ingestion across trusted RSS feeds, publications, company sources, and topic queries.
- Signal-to-noise filtering, source cleanup, and duplication removal.
- Short, decision-ready summaries in place of repeated long-form reading.
- Personalized relevance scoring based on the user's interests or role.
- A unified daily feed delivered through email or stored for internal use.
- Continuous curation without requiring a person to manually review every source.
What I Did
- Designed the ingestion, filtering, deduplication, ranking, summarization, formatting, and delivery pipeline.
- Built the source-handling logic and rules for separating high-value signals from repeated or irrelevant material.
- Structured the final output for fast consumption rather than passive information accumulation.
- Integrated the engine into Saizen's wider research and content ecosystem.
Outcomes
- Hundreds of sources reduced into one controlled feed.
- Long reading queues compressed into a short daily intelligence layer.
- Important updates surfaced consistently without inbox overload.
- Information consumption converted from a passive habit into an operational system.
Proven Impact
- Hundreds of sources consolidated into one feed.
- Hours of reading compressed into minutes.
- Reduced risk of missing high-value updates.
- Consistent relevance without manual curation.
Why It Matters
- Protects attention as a finite resource.
- Converts scattered content into structured intelligence.
- Reduces information overload while preserving awareness.
Information was never scarce. Attention was. The engine exists to make the filtering decision repeatedly, transparently, and fast enough that a person can spend time understanding the important material instead of hunting for it.
